Hello there!

I’m Gonçalo, a photographer and filmmaker based in Portugal.

In the past 6 years I’ve worked with clients in areas ranging from commercial to editorial and travel photography. I’ve travelled to the far corners of the World to experience the diversity of humankind, to broaden my horizons with new cultures and commune with the local populations, to admire the immense beauty of this World… and finally to come home and tell the story.

Apart from that I’m a bit of a nerd, I love mathematics and complex problems and I’ve been helping students overcome their difficulties with numbers for almost a decade now.

As for my hobbies, wave me a map, a bike, a tennis racquet or a surf board, and I’m out of here! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a workaholic, but…
